ABOUT ME

It’s always been about storytelling for me. From books to TV to video games, I constantly find myself getting lost in stories and imagining what comes next.

I’ve been drawn to books since I was a kid. For escape, for entertainment, for representation. As a designer and writer, I want to bring diverse, important, and heart-warming books to life to inspire children and teens to start reading and to bring adults back to books.

At Ball State University, I majored in creative writing and minored in professional writing. Outside of classes, I spent most of my time writing, designing, and editing for The Ball State Daily News, The Broken Plate literary magazine, and other organizations. I never felt more lucky than when I had the opportunity to take my experience to New York City for the New York Arts Program, where I interned at DAW Books, The Rights Factory literary agency, and Arthur Fournier Fine & Rare Books.

Now I’m lucky enough to live and work right in NYC as a cover designer and production editor.
